These terms are an agreement between you and Leonardo da Silva Gotardo, who runs NoHarm ("we", "us"). They apply to the NoHarm app on Android and iOS and to the website at noharm.site. Effective from 28 September 2026.
You accept them by ticking the box when you create an account. If you do not agree, do not create one. How we handle your personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is a separate document you accept separately.
NoHarm is a tracker for clean days and a way to talk to other people in recovery. It is not treatment, therapy or medical advice, nobody in the app is a clinician, and it is not an emergency service. Nobody watches your streak or your messages to check that you are safe.
If you are in danger, or thinking about hurting yourself, contact emergency services now. In Brazil that is 192 (SAMU); for emotional support, CVV answers on 188, free and 24 hours a day. More numbers, including for other countries, are under Settings → Crisis resources.
Nothing in the app — a streak, a badge, a message from another person — replaces a professional who knows your situation.
You must be at least 18 years old. We ask for your date of birth when you sign up and refuse accounts below that age. If we learn that an account belongs to someone younger, we will close it.
You sign in with a Google account. One person, one NoHarm account; do not create an account for someone else or pretend to be someone you are not.
You are responsible for what happens on your account and for keeping the device and the Google account you use to sign in secure.
People come here at a vulnerable moment. You agree not to:
You can report anyone from their profile. The person you report is never told that you did, and never told who did. Moderators see who filed a report, so that they can weigh it.
When you report someone you have a conversation with, the app attaches the last 20 messages of that conversation, both sides, as evidence. The app copies them itself — nobody can type or edit what is attached. Only moderators can read that copy.

Whenever a moderator acts on your account, the app tells you what was decided and why, without naming who reported you. If you think a decision was wrong, write to support@noharm.site and a person will look at it again.
What you write — messages, your username — stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to run the service: to store it, deliver it to the people you send it to, and show it to a moderator when it is part of a report. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or publish it.
Messages are private between you and the other person, but they are not end-to-end encrypted. The Privacy Policy explains exactly who can read what, and when.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. For 30 days afterwards you can change your mind by signing in again; after that it is permanently erased. Your conversations are erased with it, including the copy the other person saw.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, as described above. We may also stop running NoHarm altogether; if we do, we will give you notice in the app and time to export your data first.
NoHarm is provided as it is, free of charge, by one person. We work to keep it available and your data safe, but we cannot promise it will always be available, free of errors, or that a message or reminder will always arrive.
We are not responsible for what other users write or do, or for decisions you make based on something in the app. Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit, including your rights as a consumer.
When these terms change, the app asks you to accept the new version before you continue using it, and shows you the text first. If you do not accept, you can still export your data and delete your account.
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Disputes are to be heard in the courts of the Comarca de Londrina, Paraná, Brazil. Nothing in this clause removes your right, as a consumer, to bring a claim in the courts where you live.
